a little cheese

Ibuprofen is working as a pain reliever! I'm so glad to not have to take any heavy duty stuff!

Justice has been served tonight. Remember the verses I shared yesterday about letting God repay? He does. I'm just trusting Him to teach all of us the lessons we need to learn.

Reminds me of a quote that Austin is using for an essay at school, "Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive".

I'm feeling tons better emotionally, even if I'm feeling icky physically.

My niece Jamie is still a bit under the weather herself - she's had strep and it doesn't seem like she's getting over it. Angie has to take her for more bloodwork tomorrow. Poor baby!

My book shipped today! My friend Matt has written a book called Good Hope... it's a series of his essays, I think. I ordered one the other day and it's on the way! I think the shipping should take a week. If it's good, I'll be giving it as Christmas gifts. He's an amazing speaker and teacher and I've always loved his blog posts. He used lulu.com for his publishing... a great idea for all you budding authors out there. I'll write a book one day... although I'll have to change the names to protect the guilty. *wink*

It's cold here tonight - around 19 degrees! I know you northern folks are rolling your eyes at that... but it's cold to me!

Thanks to Melissa and Mary for their sweet emails over the past couple of days... and thanks to all y'all for your comments. I feel the love! God is good!

Its almost the end of November here, and we have yet to get a really cold spell! This morning it was 42F, and windy! Glad you're hanging in there with the meds.

I think the Shakespeare quote is very apt...the more people spin their web of deception, the deeper they get into it, and it will eventually collapse around them. Karma, baby!

I hope you feel better soon, but it sounds as if your mind has been eased--that's a great thing!

Have a great weekend, hon! And no matter where you're at, 19° is still cold. I think it got down to about 7° last night here. Thank goodness for a down comforter!

Hugs, Beth
