onions in my bible

I'm so tired that I don't even want to bother to eat. I'm not sure why. I know I always complain about being tired but I'm even tireder this week. Maybe with all the antibiodics all my system the "good germs" are being wiped out with the bad germs. I think that happens, right? I probably need some probiotics. I prayed for strength this morning. I prayed for strength on lunch... and I dragged myself in the door this evening. It didn't help that (once again) Austin had not done his chores. I have confiscated the remotes until future notice. Brat.

Work was busy and I nearly talked myself hoarse again. I miss my part time hours in Jacksonville... I wish I could combine that awesome work schedule there with my awesome community here! I don't think I'll ever be able to work part time again... but I'm glad I was able to do it for awhile. I'm really grateful for all the things I was able to handle health wise while I was in Jacksonville... especially now that the scar on my forehead isn't as ugly as it once was... back in my frankenstein days...

Tomorrow night is church and Thursday night the girls are going to hang out with me while their parents go to a reception at the college. (by the way, when I refer to "the college" that means Truett McConnell College - where my sister-in-law teaches). The reception is at the President's house (which is gorgeous!). I've been wanting some Jamie and Sarabeth time at my house, so I'm excited to have them over... but that means tonight needs to be a go to bed early night. Last night I fell asleep around 8:30 watching the Nutcracker... I just love the Nutcracker music... takes me back in time to when my boys were dancing... those were great times for us.

Are you wondering why the title of this post is Onions in my Bible? I thought that up during lunch today. I drove through Burger King and got a whopper jr, no pickles, lettuce or tomato... and I sat in my car in the warm winter sunshine and read my bible. Just like I read my bible when I dry my hair in the morning... I'm always finding random hairs in my bible... and today I dropped an onion on my bible. For a split second I felt guilty... like i was being disrespectful to God for dropping food on His Holy Word... but then I realized... I'm living with my bible and making it a part of the things I do. My bible is going everywhere I go... and that means that every now and then it will get an onion on it.... so I think it's ok.

I'm thinking Brittney looks pretty good. I want to buy her new cd.

I didn't vote today. I hope Saxby Chambliss wins. I just didn't have the energy to stop at the polling place after work. And btw... it's cold outside!

Austin made my dinner for me and brought it to me in my nest (YES! I'M EATING IN BED!!!!) He made ramen noodles. Yum. Actually... I have a bit of a sore throat and blisters in my mouth (from the antibiodics) so the noodles are a good choice. He's sucking up hoping to regain the remote. Maybe I can be persuaded. He also brought me some hot tea...

I am actually under the covers. It's that cold. My thermostat is set on 67 degrees because I need to keep the power bill low. I can't stand to breathe hot air anyways. My new down comforter is awesome! It's so soft and warm! And, of course, I usually have the laptop on my lap and it's warm...

Enough rambling... hope you're all safe and warm... going to try to catch up on blogs before I check out for the night. Love and hugs!

Nothing wrong with onions in your Bible. When you start finding toejam in your tea-cup, then you have problems.
I don't know what that means. Gimmie a break. I haven't eaten dinner yet.

Yes, go get some probotics! Your body needs them. You can also try eating whole foods. That always gives me energy.
I do hope that you have fun just hanging out with the girls.

Antibiotics can definitely make you feel lethargic! I asked my doc about probiotics, and because I do eat a pretty balanced diet and am "moving" pretty well, he didn't feel I needed it. Thats ok with me, cuz they're expensive! Hope you're feeling better soon!
