links I love

Here are a few of the websites that I visit everyday:

http://cupcakestakethecake.blogspot.com/ everything cupcake you could possible imagine

www.drudgereport.com news

www.weather.com weather

www.ajcprint.com this is the Atlanta Journal - the actual paper, scanned in for reading. you can get a free monthlong subscription, which might be fun if you've ever wanted to know more about Atlanta!

www.whateverradio.com This is Martha Stewart's daughter Alexis and her friend Jennifer. They're very real. Jennifer's mom passed away last year and she has shared some of her feelings about this.

www.facebook.com I'm hooked. If you're not my facebook friend yet, I'm under Heather Gant Sauls Darby - because I don't want anyone whose searching for me to miss me because they used the wrong last name. Oy.

www.biblegateway.com the bible in just about any language or translation you can imagine

http://www.internetcafedevotions.com/ good stuff

http://www.helenfbc.org/ my church. they're supposed to be updating the website. right now it's just one page but you can see a picture of it. woohoo!

www.people.com I love People magazine. It's trash, I know. But I enjoy it.

www.nancyguthrie.com beautiful story, fabulous teaching and insight

http://livingproofministries.blogspot.com/ Beth Moore's blog. It's great to know what she's up to and she makes it interactive... sometimes the most inspirational part is reading the comments of other women - it becomes like a sort of bulletin board

http://edenisborn.shutterfly.com/ Jason and Lindsay's baby girl - she is soooo precious!

http://nicoleandcain.blogspot.com/ Around the time that I met Michael, this woman was on the radio station I listened to at the time talking about meeting a man from Morocco online and going over there to visit him. She ended up marrying the guy and moving to Morocco. They came back to Atlanta last summer and had a baby... and then her husband was diagnosed with cancer. You think I've had a dramatic past few years! It's a sweet love story and I enjoy following it.

Leave me comments with your favorite links!

I have no agenda for today but Austin has to have a haircut so we're going to bundle up and head off for a road trip. I think I want to do a little shopping in Helen too... there's a "good" grocery store there that has a better selection of healthy foods. I'll take pictures and post later today!

love and hugs and happy Saturday, y'all!

Thanks for the links. I follow all of Beth Moores Bible studies and will follow that blog for sure. I didn't realize it was there. I'm doing one of her studies right now and have ordered another one. 'OnYa'-ma

There are two links that I would pass on to everyone.

If you are interested in Electoral politics (and perhaps more than anyone you know, I am) you need
http://www.fivethirtyeight.com

They use very good mathematical models to guess at future electoral results.

Also, one of the best sources of news is http://www.csmonitor.com

The Christian Science Monitors international coverage is fantastic and they are driven to find good things in the world.
