Blogger Babe Tour 2011

I mentioned this in my Resolution entry a little while ago... help me plan an itinerary.... although this is purely fantasy at the moment... if I was going to travel around the country spending time with my Blogger Babes and Buds... where would I go?

Audience participation time, y'all... comment with your geographic location and WHY I should make your town a stop on the tour...

Roanoke, AL to see ME of course! Or, you can come on the cruise to Cozumel and Calica with me and Natalie in June ~ her dance group is performing!

Wake Forest, NC

Well for starters, I'm here! I can't think of a much better reason to visit than that, but since that pretty much trumps everything else it's probably not fair. Here's a few other reasons instead.

The Great Downtown area-the small downtown area is really quite beautiful. They've got tons of neat shops as well as a great coffee shop and an old English tea room. That's right tea time for grown ups.

You could visit downtown Raleigh, the state's capitol, which is minutes away. There you'll catch some of the local music scene which includes lots of Blues, Jazz, and Bluegrass artists, or see an event at the RBC Center.

Also near by is Duke University which houses the spectacular Duke Gardens. There's lots of trails to see many different local and foreign flowers, trees and the like.

Finally, there's Falls Lake. Only 15 minutes from the school you can swim on the beach area, boat and water ski, hike one of the many trails, or have a nice picnic under one of the pavilions.

You would have to come up north to see me but make it in August and we can go to the track and to see all the sights in our pretty little Victorian town. If you are feeling up to it, we can do a little geocaching and go up to Lake George and take a cruise!
