one more convert and I get the toaster oven!

When someone leaves you a comment that refers to you as Blogi-wan-kenobi, you tend to pay attention.

I mean... I fake it pretty well on here but I'm not particularly techno-savvy about this whole world wide webbing. I am... however... pretty well versed on the pros and cons of the blogosphere. So when an aspiring blogger asks for help... I do what I can... especially when it's someone with a story to tell... because we all love a good story, don't we?

I read a lot of blogs. Some of them are informative... some of them are complete fluff... some of them are very deep and introspective. Some I read just because I like following the story. I'm not sure where this brand new blog is going to fall... but the first little bit of it is very compelling. At least for me.

Check out Greg's new blog at http://gregzky98.blogspot.com/ Leave him a comment, tell him I sent you. Follow him if you're so inclined. It's deep. It's not quite the Pollyanna-Bluebird of Happiness writing that you're used to from me. That's ok. I didn't start there either, now did I? No matter how long I walk on the "sunny side of the street"... I hope to never forget my roots... I want to always have the perspective that I re-started this blog at a very dark time in my life and I want to always cherish the joy that God has brought into my life. Greg's blog has some language that some may not appreciate. I appreciate his honesty and the fact that he's giving this venue a try.

One more new blogger and I get the toaster oven. Who's next?

Aww, shucks ma'am. Much obliged. My story is not for the faint of heart. If the skin is thin then maybe something a little more light & airy would be appropriate. But it's real. It's who I am. It's where I come from & I will not alter my course to protect the feelings of others. Ragged edge? Loose cannon? Probably. Raw, stark & in your face? Only a reflection of my own reality. We write what we know. Peace to all
