This is copied from Misty's guestbook on the funeral home website. Please note that Bobby and Jordan are the same kid... his name is Robert Jordan. His dad called him Bobby, his mom always called him Jordan. This was really special.... especially when you remember Bobby is nine !

I do not know Misty or any family members but I am the 911 Dispatcher Jordan reached when he so bravely tried to get help for his mom. From the moment I answered the phone and Jordan told thought his mom had a heart attack, he was trying so hard to get me the exact location where they were, giving me different landmarks. His concern for his mother and baby sister was first priority to him. He asked me if I wanted him to stop the Durango and he told me when he had done that. Even though Jordan was doing everything I asked of him, I asked if he saw an adult in the area that I could speak with to get further information. As he looked around he waved down a kind gentleman named David Jackson who then got on the phone and gave me further information to pass on to EMS. He assured me that the situation was critical and assured me he would stay with the patient and Jordan until EMS arrived. Jordan, your mother must be so proud of your heroic efforts to save her life. She will truly be your guardian angel as she watches over you from heaven. You are a true hero to this 911 Dispatcher. The assistance you provided to me makes you a hero - a 911 Hero. You remained calm and composed in a situation where few adults do. God bless you.

How special she was to leave him such an important, inspiring message at a time when he can really use it! Hopefully, he'll keep her words in mind and refer back to them when he needs strength in his life! What a great kid! Everyone involved must be so proud of him! I am sure his mom is beaming up above! Blessings, Lisa
I'm so glad she left that for him. Later on when he thinks back to that moment, he will have something reaffirming that he did all he could do. He is indeed a very brave young man. (Hugs)Indigo
What a thoughtful message! He may not understand fully the impact of his actions, but in later years, this will surely help! What a courageous young man!
What a touching and special message.
